24082013. Food Hunt at Klang at 15:22
We are going for a family trip on my sister's graduation which gonna happen at the end of August. We booked the tickets somewhere in April/ May. I'm so thankful that we always manage to grab cheaper fare for our family trip. We spend RM118/pax for return flight to KL! For last year my graduation tickets, it cost RM110/pax for return flights. How can i not show my gratitude! Lol
Before we go for the trip, i have pre-booked our hotel at PutraJaya Homestay (2 days stay for sister's convocation), a night stay in Tune Hotel Ipoh, a night stay in Pangkor Island and the rest of the days will be staying at uncle's house. Dad has been on and off nagging me to come out with an itinerary plan. We went back to KL quite often, almost a yearly basis so i really out of idea where to go. All i can think of is food hunting trip! :D
So, the first place that come up in my mind is the Restoran Boston Baru that my client brought us to during my outstation trip early in the year. It was located in Klang.
So i googles this map to be safe. I really no idea how to connect and i also dunno how far the distance between this place to that place. So, we have to go from Putrajaya to Klang. Looks near in the map though. GPS will do the job to guide me through.
More map searching in process....
This is to check on the route that i have to take if we plan to go from Ipoh to Pangkor!
This the plan that i have come out with!
And i also read up kyspeaks's blog on what is famous to eat in various places! I do my homework one! ^^
That day OOTD to airport! Simple and comfy is the key!
We reached there and check in around 3pm. settled down and have a small rest then is time to off for dinner already! We leave the homestay at 5pm and reached the Restoran Boston Baru at 7pm. I have to blame the GPS map for guiding me to the wrong isolated industrial area in Klang! Thank god that i remembered i ever check in for the Restoran Boston Baru! So i google again the maps for the Restoran Boston Baru!
They seems like expanded their business! They have over twenty tables all arranged at road side!
This place is famous for their steam ginger lala with wine and some other dishes like mantis prawn and so on. It is famous with cheap and good food. However, i read the review that they also famous with making u wait for long hours due to they only have 1 chef doing the job!
So after waited for 2 hours, we got our dinner ready at 9pm. Or i should call it supper already?!
This is their specialty - che hun ken. Some kind of sticky glass noodle!
The whole meal only cost us less than RM65 for 5 pax. FYI, we ordered Steam ginger lala, Fried noodle, Fried lettuce and also Nestum Mantis Prawn. So i think they are really cheap! Just that you will have to spend time waiting at there and because of this, we cancelled of the original plan to shop at Paradigm Mall. I got the blame from my sis. Opps...

230113. Rakuzen Restaurant at 22:05
Back to blog about my outstation in Klang.. I had this vitasoy everyday morning as breakfast!
I had a different feel about the outstation this round.
I had a lot of stress and it is the first peak that I'm going through. I always heard about how scary is the peak, but never experience it. So, I'm really stress that I might not able to handle it.
The manager came over for a visit and meeting with the client. She brought us to a lunch treat at Rakuzen!
Rakuzen is a place that sells Japanese food! I heard it is in the top list of the Japanese restaurant from A. I bet it gonna cost a lot!
Have a look at the menu and it is seriously costly!
Due to this meal is having with te manager, we don't really dare to order too expensive thing. Just.. Paise? Or what if at the end we must pay our own portion? Lol
Since cny is approaching, le manager ordered a prosperity yee sang!
The real one and taste very yummy! The main thing that makes a Yee sang taste different than others is the side dishes (the jeruk jeruk) and the sauce!
My seniors they ordered the unagi sets that cost around RM68/70!
This unagi rolls is my favourite! But since there are 5 of us, I can only have a piece of it!
Sashimi salmon which cost RM22!
And here comes the main focus of our lunch - sashimi sets that cost RM180!! However we felt a bit not worth is compared to the salmon set that we ordered on above that cost only RM22!
The mean that I ordered which I dislike :(
Another maki that taste super yummy! I swear next time I go KL I should order those sushi or maki like this and dont order set meal again!
A's Katsura! He is a big fans of katsu lol
Omggggg maki with crab meat!
The total bill for our super blissful lunch cost around RM500++.. The most expensive Japanese food I had ever!
But I think what u get, you have to pay for it. Mayb in other forms of return...
