Melaka 2014 | Part 2 Surprise Birthday Party at 22:36

Continue from my previous post..

After our lunch, suhui suggested we all go to De reve cafe for tea. It was a saloon which also serve some coffee and waffles. Best for their client to choose either food service or hair service.

We sitting outside the shop there, planning on our rundown.

I personally think that brownie is so small piece of cake :S

After our tea session, next we move on to Itango for K session. Itango was located at BB Plaza, near MMU. It was one of the place that we used to hang out for k session. Super cheap!

Around 6pm, me, suhui, kawan and yeo sneak out to nearby jusco to buy our decoration materials!

This is the simple decoration that we manage to come out in 1.5 hours.

We bought some party stuff too!

And yummy green tea red bean cake from yeast bakery!

The "happy birthday" from Mr. DIY which only cost 1.90 :D

I love the beautiful outcome of everything!!

Dan just finish his OT and came to join us.

We gave him the mission to surprise kangwei :D

So he slowly come in without knowing what is happening here!

Jimmy and MinQ they did tapao some melaka pohpiah (god, i damn love their pohpiah) and also the butter fried mushroom from nearby mmu's vegetarian shop.

They bought some Famous putu piring from Jas's family too! RM1 each and thankful we can skip the queue because we are friends of Jas :P

Melaka 2014 | Part 1 at 21:41

Finally i'm going to blog about our 38 gang gathering which falls on 9 Aug till 11 Aug.

We haven meet up each other ever since we have graduated. Roughly estimated, 2 years we din meet up ady.

So, they proposed to make the trip in August. I bought my ticket to KL somewhere in April for RM194 roundtrip. Ticket booked, leave blocked. It is happening!!!

My flight was early in the morning. Mum send me to airport around 5.45am.

After i reach KLIA2, i received a lot of notification in my Line. My flight arrived at 8.30am and all my buddy already reach airport too! Came out from the arrival hall and my funny friends made a welcome board for me! So funny!

After that, Jimmy drove us down to Melaka! The road trip going to take 1.5 hour!

Arriving ariving.. We reach Melaka around 10.30am. We thought that we can dropby Suhui house, but she isnt around. Since she isn't around, we went out for some light breakfast.

We went to Uncle Oh Kopitiam :D

And we ordered assorted fried Yong Tau Foo. Super yummy i like the one with noodle mushrooms. Slurps

Then next we have to drive to Melaka Sentral to pick up Kawan and Kyo.

The rest of them tell us our plan on celebrating Kyo's belated birthday celebration!

After pick up them from the bus station, we heading to Kota Laksama Pangsapuri to check in our homestay! We booked our apartment from Melaka my homestay which i stayed before (a few years back) Surprisingly they did not increase the price, we still pay RM200 for whole apartment! Super worth it!

The owner said that he has 2 unit there. This round, we picked the unit which isn't the one i stayed few years back. It is slightly different. It has three rooms on 2nd floor, which able to accommodate 6-8 pax. The living room, kitchen and dining area were at downstairs.

I love their design.

FYI, it has 3 bathrooms!!

Thoughtful Kangwei brought us souvenir from Bali.

He brought some Kluang Mooncake too! Later, i found out this was very famous and only able in Kluang!

Jimmy bring some alcohol from KL. Party tonight!

Oh ya, spot the similarities that i have with kangwei! LOL

After we all settle down, time to hunt for food in Melaka! MinQ suggested us to go for Nyonya Food so we went to Restoran Aunty Lee.

MinQ must have heard some good feedback from friend so we all going there for our lunch!

We ordered otak otak, fried vege, fried tofu, brinjal and ayam pon teh. Yummylicious.

Ayam Ponteh is a must have food for nyonnya food! Besides, otak otak also very rare in kuching :)

We had some sweet time there filming our first Meipai video for 38gang.

Finally, counting down those days to meet my 38 gang!

I'm truly grateful that they are still close with me eventhough we did not meet up for almost two years!

A night dine out at beyond veggie with mum and sister. It is a shop with vegetarian food concept.

We ordered a mushroom pizza which is super yummy! I love it!

And a piece of almond choc cake!! So rich and so good! The cake menu is a bit different with those at secret receipt.

FYI, beyond veggie is related with Secret Recipe.

I love the interior design.

So green and cozy.

Will come back again for other vegan food!
