A fine morning food hunting in Butterworth at 00:00It's 27 degree that night. After the dinner at the food street, we sat ferry and went to butterworth. Penang is an Island. Butterworth is another part of PG but nearer to Perlis those place. Ok, those are what i assumed. I'm not really good in Geography. That's why i got B for my Geography (PMR) :( We planned to meet up our coursemate, Min Chiew for supper! Crazy right? We just had our dinner and we are thinking about our supper again! :D But first thing first, we got to check in to hotel first. Irene's Bf helped us to find a hotel which is cheap and recommended by online users. He told us that the hotel itself is a banglo with many rooms. Sounds pretty good and i think it will gives a homey feel. So then, we reached.
Us, checking in the room and check out the rates too! It's cheap cause only RM60 per night!
Check out their website here.
The living room.
The view inside our room. Two single beds and a very clean toilet! What i concern about the hotel is their cleanliness of their toilet. That's the most important thing! Imagine, how can you step inside a dirty toilet and bath? We stopped by the town and spotted this "lover bridge". Just a decoration of the entrance. Pretty small place with nothing much to shop. But me and kawan bought our oilpainting sets damn cheap here. It cost only RM45 per set! We decided to hand carry because it is too cheap! Can't stop ourself from buying eventhough we have to hand carry it to Langkawi and back to KL! :D The famous Curry Noodles (北海咖哩面之家) We went to have the famous curry mee and their sambal sotong. This is a must try and famous in Butterworth! Then we also switched to another stall to hunt for famous steam seafood with special sauce! Irene's Bf is seriously good in finding good food! Partly is because he is from Ipoh. Therefore, he knows those places quite well! Then, we have a fine night sleep with a bloated tummy. But our food hunting trip doesn't stop there eventhough we are catching a flight in the noon time to Langkawi! :D Irene'f Bf sends us to another famous shop for breakfast! In Butterworth, Restoran Sai Toh Lim is quite famous with its soup kuey teow. It is located on Loron Ceri 7 off Jalan Uda.
We had some Lo Bak again.
This thing is special and super yummy called guang jiang. Even the name oso special than the others :D It's made from yam and mixed with some peanut. I personally dislike peanuts but i'm fine with this! It gives you sticky feel but it's quite soft. To eat it with chillie sauce like sio bee!
shall end this post now. Bye |
